Marilyn Manson Becomes New Face Of Saint Laurent 2013 Pre-Fall Collection

Marilyn Manson—one of rock music's most eclectic, and often misunderstood—is headlining the new fashion campaign for an unlikely style empire.

According to Vogue UK, Manson was chosen by creative director Hedi Slimane to front Saint Laurent Paris' pre-fall menswear line for 2013. Vogue is also reporting that this morning Manson's label confirmed the image (seen above) was in fact shot by Slimane himself—an established fashion photographer.

Saint Laurent—formerly known as Yves Saint Laurent & the appropriately abbreviated YSL—was founded by fashion designer Yves Saint-Laurent, who unfortunately died of brain cancer in 2008. Slimane now heads as creative director after last year's company revamp.
For Saint Laurent's new campaign, the "Beautiful People" rock singer goes for his usual all-black-everything steez, but his face is what says it all—and in the process makes the look really stand out. This should definitely be an interesting collaboration.
