Chris Rock Joins The Second Season Cast Of 'Real Husbands Of Hollywood'

Guess something productive came from that all-comedian-everything event at New York City's Comedy Cellar. Chris Rock is joining BET's Real Husbands of Hollywood.

Kevin Hart's energetic franchise is getting an increased jolt of awesomeness in the form of comedian Chris Rock. The popular fake-reality TV show just ended its first season mid-March and already BET has ordered for seconds. There's no date on arrival, but you can figure with Rock's schedule (and the hope of a Watch The Comedic Throne tour) that the show's return will be a lot sooner than later.
The website, HipHollywood.com, reported this Monday the good news.
The show, which stars Nick Cannon, J.B. Smoove, Boris Kodjoe and Duane Martin, has caught buzz over the last few episodes of season 1. Counting the show he produces with W. Kamau Bell, Rock doesn't do a lot of TV since his last project ended in 2009. In the clip, Rock confirms his role and looks to be a solid replacement for Robin Thicke, who decided to remove himself from production of BET's reality show parody. Anthony Anderson will also join the cast as well.
"I just watched the show and it just seemed like they were having so much fun. I said, 'I want to have fun,'" Rock said. In addition to his appearance with fellow Saturday Night Live alums Adam Sandler, David Spade and Rob Schneider, Chris is currently directing a feature film produced by Scott Rudin and Barry Diller.
