Kanye West Sued For 'Gold Digger' Sample

Kanye West is being sued by the children of late songwriter David Pryor on claims that he sampled one of Pryor's songs without permission, according to TMZ.

Trena Steward and Lorenzo Pryor allege Kanye used a part of ""Bumpin' Bus Stop?" on his 2005 Jamie Foxx-assisted hit "Gold Digger." Pryor wrote and performed the song with his band Thunder & Lightning in 1974
Pryo's children own about a quarter of the song each and have asked a judge to stop the sale of the song. They claim Kanye sampled 13 seconds of their father's voice, echoing Kanye's line, "Get down girl, get down, get down."
