Electric Daisy Carnival Heads to London in July

Insomniac's Electric Daisy Carnival is coming to London for one day only. The electronic dance music festival will take over Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in the East End on Saturday, July 20, 2013.

Insomniac, the LA-based music festival and event promoter for all things EDM, is teaming with Cream in the U.K. to make it all happen. "Bringing Insomniac's Electric Daisy Carnival experience across the Atlantic to London has been my dream for years and I couldn't ask for a better partner than Cream, who is a world-wide fixture in electronic dance music culture," said Pasquale Rotella, CEO and founder of Insomniac.
Consider London only the latest stop in the EDC junket. The flagship festival, a full-throttle roller coaster through the world of EDM, takes place across three days in Las Vegas in June, drawing close to 300,000 people. It's huge turnout has led to spin-offs in New York (May 17-18), and this year for the first time in Chicago (May 24-26), Puerto Rico (Sept. 13-14) and Orlando (November 8-9.)
London's one-day roster includes big name DJs Tiësto, Avicii, Steve Angello, Alesso, Hardwell, Madeon, Porter Robinson, Rusko and several others. More acts will be announced in the future.
Londontown, get ready to dance from dusk till dawn. Ticket go on sale starting April 9.
