Kanye West is either fuming or cackling right now. Last Friday (April 5), Ray J released the cover art for his new single, "I Hit It First," featuring a blurred-out photo of Kanye's baby mama Kim Kardashian. Then, he took to the airwaves
on Hot 97's Cipha Sounds & Rosenberg Show yesterday and tried to
act like the song wasn't about his ex-girlfriend/sex tape partner.
"[It's] about a concept," he said. "People are going way too deep. I'm
not trying to create no war."
When the track finally leaked later on in the day, it was pretty clear that Ray J created it to get a rise out of KimYe. So if you're Kanye, what do you do? Write a diss track about Ray J? Call Ray J and curse him out? Contact the Cipha Sounds & Rosenberg Show and schedule a follow you interview? You could. But what fun would that be?
If you really want to get back at Ray J, you've got to be a little bit more creative than that. Ray J may have "hit it first." But these responses would give Kanye the last laugh.

He hasn't tweeted since. So can you imagine the crazy response he would get to a "COOL STORY BRO!!!!!!!" tweet? It wouldn't involve him calling Ray J out by name. It wouldn't require very much effort. And it would get the Internets going nuts and show how effortlessly Kanye is able to crush his competition. Plus, for the next six months, we would laugh each and every time we visited Ye's Twitter page. Seems like a win to us.

We all know Em has absolutely no problem dissing corny pop stars on his big singles. So if you're Kanye, why not have Slim Shady do your dirty work for you?
Why It Will Work: Kanye likely wants to stay above the fray and avoid dissing Ray J on a song. But that doesn't mean he can't ask one of his most famous friends to do it for him. Outside of "I Hit It First," it's essentially the only thing he's got going for him right now. But don't you think Oxygen would just LOVE to have Kanye "fill in" for him instead? We're sure they would have no problem at all dropping him from the team if Ye expressed interest. Despite the fact that he's expecting a baby with one of the baddest chicks on the planet, Bad Girls suddenly sounds like a pretty good gig, doesn't it, Yeezy?
