Chris Brown Announces New Album Title; Speaks On Sound & Reveals Kendrick Collaboration

chris brown studio
Chris Brown invited MTV to a private listening session at a Southern California studio recently and spoke on his forthcoming 6th studio album. Chris confirmed the title as X and spoke on concept behind the title:
“The song and the album title ‘X’ has a couple different meanings. It can refer to an ex-girlfriend, in terms of you always look forward to moving forward from. It’s also about being a reject in a sense. In me being myself, being able to grow up, me not always hanging around the right crowd or doing the right thing all the time — it’s me saying, ‘I’m over it. I’m past the bullsh– now.’ “

Justin Bieber Loses Pet Monkey at Customs in Germany

The Beatles sang "everybody's got something to hide except for me and my monkey" on their track of the same name off their seminal album The White Album. Justin Bieber is, however, living the lyric.
The pop star, who has been making headlines as of late for his aggressive behavior, lost his monkey to customs when landing in Munich, Germany this past Thursday on his recent world tour. Customs officials took the animal, named Mally, saying that Biebs didn’t have the proper documents to bring his capuchin monkey into the country. The monkey was a gift from from record producer Jamal Rashid also known as “Mally Mall.”
Bieber's pet monkey was put in quarantine with authorities, a customs spokesman said. No word on whether the monkey and the pop star have been reunited. Bieber plays Berlin tonight (March 31) on his BELIEVE tour, and has four other stops in Germany on this European leg of his tour.

J. Lo's Overpriced Demands Cost Her a Performance in India

India's professional cricket league -- formerly called the Indian Premier League (IPL) -- planned to have Latin pop diva Jennifer Lopez take part in this year's opening ceremony.
According to the New York Post, "Jenny From the Block" allegedly made too many high-priced demands for the cricket tournament, now in its sixth year of existence.
"The demands were outrageous. She effectively priced herself out of the event. It was idiotic because the audience for this event is huge," a source said. "It's like the Super Bowl halftime show. Last year, it drew 56 million viewers."
The 43-year-old Bronx native was said to have requested a private plane and dozens of hotel rooms for herself and guests. Lopez's spokesperson says the offer was declined because she is busy working on her eighth album. Her last album was 2011's Love?.
Pitbull has replaced Lopez as the headlining act for the opening ceremony, which will take place on April 2 at Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata, India.

Body Of Pilot Thrown From Plane Found

Officials have recovered the body of the pilot who was thrown 2,500 feet in the air from a plane to his death during a flying lesson.
"They found him in a tree line, not too far off the road," said Bob Gault, spokesman for the Bradley County Sheriff's Office.
Reuters reports Gault would have to wait till the National Transportation Safety Board completes their investigation before ruling that the pilot trainee was not wearing his safety harness and that the plane had gone into a nosedive at the time of the accident late on Friday afternoon.
Local reports say the man who died was an experienced pilot who was being trained to fly the plane, which he recently purchased.
The names of both pilots on board have still not been released. An airport employee who did not want to be identified said they were both experienced pilots and "nice guys."

Did Rihanna Throw Shots At Beyoncé For 'Bow Down' On Instagram?

Bad gal Riri strikes again.
After being named Britain's most influential pop star by U.K. channel 4Music, Rihanna took to Instagram to gloat about her title.
In Fabolous hashtag fashion, the "Diamonds" singer peppered her caption with some shade seemingly aimed at Bey, who claimed "I’m the number one chick, ain’t need no hype" in her latest track "Bow Down/ I Been On."
"I only know how to be number 1!! I could use a challenge…," Rih wrote on IG. “How dat feel down there on ya knees, Huh?!” #gunzindamuthaphuckinair #allmyniggazNavi #controlyourheauxz #heauxzBeAckinUp #yesimeantAckin #catchup #phuckyouandyourtimedifference #walkupindisbitchlikeiownaheaux #fromtheleftsideofanisland #tuh"

Erykah Badu Calls Out Papoose For Using Old Vocals Without Her Consent

They say it's better to ask forgiveness than permission, as is the case for rapper Papoose who allegedly used Erykah Badu's vocals without a heads-up.
A day after the Brooklyn-bred rapper dropped his 10-years-in-the-making LP Nacirema Dream, the neo-soulstress took to Twitter to call him out for using her old material from a decade ago on the song "Cure."
  ErykahBadoula         @fatbellybella
This papoose song Cure. I sang those vocals 10 years ago. That's 2 babies ago.Sheeeit. So mcs just throwing out old material- no paperwork..
This wouldn't be the first time Badu has thrown shots on the social site. In June 2012, she came at Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips for leaking visuals without her consent.

12 People Shot In Six Hours In Chicago

There seems to be no end in sight for the deadly string of shootings in the city of Chicago. Following the tragic death of six-month-old Jonylah Watkins earlier this month, the Windy City is now grieving over 12 victims that were shot in a matter of six hours.
According to the Chicago Tribune, the spree began around 8PM CST when three people approached a 23-year-old man and a 44-year-old man on the 1800 block of North Francisco Avenue.

Justin Bieber To Be Prosecuted for Spitting on Neighbor?

Justin Bieber will likely face criminal charges when it comes to a recent run-in with his neighbor.
The 19-year-old pop star spit at his neighbor and threatened his life, after the Calabasas man -- and father of three -- complained about Bieber's reckless driving. (Bieber often unnecessarily peels out of local strip malls in his fast cars, area locals have complained.) The neighbor, however, is not happy at the excessive speeds at which Bieber and his posse drive through his ritzy neighborhood.

Tiny Beyonce, World's Smallest Dog, Turns One

They named the pup Beyonce because it was "a survivor" -- just like pop diva Beyonce sings on the Destiny's Child track of the same name, "Survivor."
Beyonce the dog, aka Tiny Beyonce, turned one this month after being born prematurely with no heartbeat a year ago on March 8th, 2012. She was not breathing, weighed one ounce, could "could fit into a spoon" and was no bigger than an iPhone or tennis ball, making her "the world's smallest puppy."
Veterinarians from Northern California's Grace Foundation, a rehabilitation ranch for animals, rescued the pup, who was born to a pregnant street dog the animal shelter saved. Now, fully grown at 3-pounds, Tiny Beyonce works as an "ambassadog" helping raise awareness for rescue pet adoption.
"She is a dog that survived death three times," said her rescuing vet DeCaptio. "We were able to revive her. She's really just a miracle pup."
Adds DeCaptio now, "She was able to save over 200 last-chance animals this year. Imagine what she can do in her second year."

Justin Timberlake Talks Drug Use at Coachella

Chart-topping crooner Justin Timberlake recently opened up about a different type of "20/20 experience" he endured while at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival, held annually in Palm Springs, California in April.
After his secret SXSW show two weeks ago, where the 32-year-old continually joked about being under the influence and "turnt up" throughout his set, Timberlake told Myspace that he had consumed illegal substances at the California festival in the past.
“I’ve been to Coachella many times, on many different, um, substances,” the distinguished "Suit & Tie" singer said in the interview with his partially owned social networking site. “I’ve been to Coachella many times but not remembered a lot of it, I’ll leave it at that. Like, I stood in an open field and one year I saw Nine Inch Nails and the next year I saw Weezer and I was standing in the middle of the field, you know, like tripping my mind out.”
In an interview with Playboy Magazine in 2011, JT admitted to having smoked pot to get himself to stop thinking. "Sometimes I have a brain that needs to be turned off," he explained. "Some people are just better high."

Kidnapped, dumped in the jungle and raised by monkeys: The story of a little girl wrenched from her family and brought up in the wild who only revealed her tale 50 years later as a Bradford housewife

It is an amazing – some might say unbelievable – tale: how a Yorkshire housewife spent five years as a young child being raised by monkeys in the Colombian jungle. Yet experts have found no evidence that Marina Chapman's story is a fantasy – and now she has told it for the first time, in riveting detail.
In a new book, exclusively serialised by The Mail on Sunday from today, Mrs Chapman reveals how a colony of capuchins taught her how to survive after she was abandoned in the rainforest by kidnappers who botched her abduction. She copied the monkeys' eating habits and high-pitched cries and even learned to climb trees, though she slept in a hollowed-out tree trunk at night.

Mrs Chapman's story – which has echoes of the Tarzan tales – began in the Fifties when she was drugged and abducted from her Colombian home at the age of four. Here, she recalls the moment her young life was torn apart, and the ‘human’ kindness of the apes who saved her . . .

Before Saturday’s match Sunderland chairman Ellis Short called for all involved with the club to stand ‘shoulder to shoulder’ but he decided to act with just seven games of the season remaining.

A club statement said: ‘Sunderland has parted company with manager Martin O’Neill this evening. The club would like to record its thanks to Martin and wish him well for the future. An announcement will be made in the coming days regarding a successor.’

Patience Jonathan flown abroad for treatment

There are indications that the wife of President Goodluck Jonathan, Patience, has been flown abroad for medical treatment in an undisclosed German hospital.
Unconfirmed reports had it that the First Lady’s health might have relapsed, thereby necessitating her going abroad to receive fresh medical attention.
Mrs. Jonathan was conspicuously absent at a Good Friday service held at the Aso Villa Chapel on Friday although her husband attended with his mother, Eunice.
The President is currently in Lagos for the Easter break without his wife.

Her last public appearance was in France where she received a Global Women Leader for Peace Award 2013.
Our correspondent learnt that she returned to the country briefly after the event before embarking on a fresh trip.
But unlike the trip to France, a presidency source who pleaded anonymity, said Mrs. Jonathan did not embark on the current trip with her full entourage.
When contacted on the telephone, Mrs. Jonathan’s spokesman, Mr. Ayo Osinlu, confirmed that the First Lady was not in the country.
Osinlu however denied reports that Mrs. Jonathan is abroad for medical attention.
He said she was abroad attending to her foster mother who is sick. However, he did not disclose the country where the First Lady is attending to the ailing woman.
But investigations by our correspondent showed that Mrs. Jonathan may be in Germany.
It was further learnt that she is expected back in the country this week.
The source however could not say exactly when she will be back.
An online news medium, SaharaReporters, had reported on Saturday that Mrs. Jonathan  was sick again and was shuttling between Spain and Germany in search of treatment.
The report quoted a source as saying the First Lady was also contemplating receiving medical treatment from a United States hospital.
Mrs. Jonathan disappeared from the country for several weeks last year to attend to her failing health.
During the period, both the Presidency and Osinlu denied that the First Lady was receiving treatment abroad for an undisclosed ailment.
Specifically, Osinlu said Mrs. Jonathan was vacating abroad after the rigour of hosting a conference of African First Ladies.
But during a special thanksgiving service held in her honour recently at the Aso Villa Chapel, the First Lady admitted that she was sick and “died” for a week.

England chanters know exactly what they are

For some years now the FA and England have been able to adopt a position of superiority over many European nations regarding racist behaviour from the terraces.
English football and society have progressed at a faster rate than much of the continent, goes the oft-repeated mantra. This is thanks to sterling work by the game’s authorities, partly due to the need to eradicate a hooligan problem associated with the far right and punished heavily by UEFA in the past.

Dimitar Berbatov has an unusual way of holding a baby

This is how I hold a babyThere's not an awful lot more that needs to be said about this.
Dimitar Berbatov is not a man who likes to do things like everybody else.
As a player, the Fulham striker is popular with neutrals for his laid-back style and effortless class, with a dollop of 'I'm not chasing back for that thrown in'.
As a T-shirt wearer, his choice of 'Keep calm and pass me the ball' was a talking point back in December.

Just how much do sports stars really earn?

Sportsmen/women. They show some talent for a pastime, put in some training and then get paid ridiculous sums to perform in front of thousands of us regular folk.
But is it actually that simple?
While there is indeed money in most sports and those at the highest end earn wages most of us could only dream of, the majority of professionals in the world of sport are pulling in much more ordinary salaries according to a studies over the last few years.
Starting with football, Britain’s biggest cash cow of a sport. The Premier League of course rakes in (and thus, pays out) millions. Business analysts Deloitte showed in their most recent figures that the top flight’s total wage bill surpassed £1.3billion in 2008/09.
With an increase of around £132million from 2007/08, the current figure in 2012/13 is likely closer to two billion. And even squad players are minted, despite their limited appearances: the average Premier League salary was £21,600 a week - £1.1million a year – four seasons ago.

Why Vincent Kompany has bought the worst team in Belgium

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has chosen to invest some of his earnings in an unusual purchase – Belgian side FC Bleid.
The club are not glamorous – in fact, as it stands they sit squarely at the bottom of D3B, the third tier of Belgian football. They have a record of two wins and 19 defeats from their 25 matches so far this season, and a goal difference of -44.
But that has not deterred Kompany, who views it as an opportunity to rebuild the club from scratch, giving the team everything from a new name to new colours.

'Judge Joe Brown' Show Cancelled

Judge Joe Brown will be delivering his last verdict on TV this year. CBS has confirmed that the longest running African American TV Judge show has been cancelled after 15 years on air.
Judge Joe Brown could not come to an agreement with CBS over his $20-million salary. The no-non-sense judge reportedly asked for a bigger salary even though his show ratings were starting to decline. He was only second to Judge Judy in ratings.
He became famous after his presiding in the appeal of James Earl Ray, Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassin. The court show will continue to air original episodes and re-runs until September.
