Emmy-winning writer and producer, Don Payne, passed away last night (Mar. 27) at his home in Los Angeles
Payne was a producer for "The Simpsons" and wrote "My Super Ex-Girlfrien d,"
and 2007's "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer." He worked on
nine Simpsons episodes after joining the team in 2000 as a consulting
producer.
The beloved writer is survived by his wife, Julie; their sons, Nathaniel and Joshua; their daughter, Lila; his mother, Barbara Payne; a brother, John Payne, and a sister, Suzanne Fanning.
Payne's family is hosting a memorial service this Friday in Los Angeles.
