Body Of Pilot Thrown From Plane Found

Officials have recovered the body of the pilot who was thrown 2,500 feet in the air from a plane to his death during a flying lesson.
"They found him in a tree line, not too far off the road," said Bob Gault, spokesman for the Bradley County Sheriff's Office.
Reuters reports Gault would have to wait till the National Transportation Safety Board completes their investigation before ruling that the pilot trainee was not wearing his safety harness and that the plane had gone into a nosedive at the time of the accident late on Friday afternoon.
Local reports say the man who died was an experienced pilot who was being trained to fly the plane, which he recently purchased.
The names of both pilots on board have still not been released. An airport employee who did not want to be identified said they were both experienced pilots and "nice guys."
