Did you catch Justin Timberlake's performance of "Suit & Tie" on Saturday Night Live over the weekend? If not, you missed something pretty special. Not only did JT perform his hit single live with Jay-Z. But, he also devoted one line from the song to throwing a not-so-subtle shot at Kanye West,
who came out and admitted that he doesn't like the "Suit & Tie"
movement recently. "Awww," JT sang on Saturday night during his
performance, "my hit so sick, got rappers acting dramatic!"
It was definitely a cool moment. And, it got us to thinking: Which other artists have used this approach of dissing someone during a live performance? So, we scoured YouTube for a few hours and came up with a list of 10 Memorable Disses That Have Taken Place During Live Performances. After watching these performances, we think it's safe to say that this is the ultimate way to diss someone.see more after cut....

Artist: Game
Who He Dissed: 50 Cent
How He Dissed Him: At Hot 97's Summer Jam in 2005, Game
took the stage and beat up a guy dressed in a gorilla outfit, which was
seen as a shot at Game's mentor 50 Cent. Then, he solidified that
sentiment by performing his hit song, "Hate It or Love It," and changing
around some of the lines to reflect his unhappiness with the G-Unit
general. "I ain't f------ with five-0," he rapped, "it's all starting to
make sense!" Yes, it was. This was the start of a long, drawn-out feud
between the two former friends.
Artist: Madonna
Who She Dissed: Lady Gaga
How She Dissed Her: During her MDNA Tour last year,
Madonna often mashed up Gaga's 2011 hit, "Born This Way," with her own
1989 hit, "Express Yourself," before chanting, "She's not me," over and
over (and over!) again and getting the crowd to chant along with her. It
was enough to get the innanets buzzing and force Gaga to issue a
response during one of her own shows. "I don't even want to fight back,"
she said, "because it's more important to me to keep writing music."
Madonna 1, Gaga 0.
Artist: 50 Cent
Who He Dissed: Diddy
How He Dissed Him: Shortly after Diddy made some
subliminal statements about him after the 2010 BET Awards, 50 went hard
at him. First, he dissed him during a satellite radio interview. Then,
he performed a couple of concerts in Rio de Janeiro and mocked Diddy by
singing "Hello Good Morning" before performing the remix to the Trunk
Boiz regional hit, "Bitch."
Artist: Lil Wayne
Who He Dissed: LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, the Miami Heat, and the NBA
How He Dissed Them: Wayne didn't pull any punches.
While performing in Houston shortly after the end of the 2013 NBA
All-Star Game, Weezy came right out and went on a full-fledged tirade to
show his displeasure with the NBA and the Heat for asking him to leave a
game last month. "F--- the heat," he yelled. "F--- LeBron, f---
She-Wade, and I f----- Chris Bosh's wife!" Yikes.
Artist: Drake
Who He Dissed: Pusha T
How He Dissed Him: During a tour stop in Washington,
D.C. last May, Drizzy took some time to address the crowd and reportedly
took a shot at Pusha for releasing a diss track called "Exodus 23:1"
that featured some shots aimed at him. "If you was doin' 16s when I was
16 and you s--- still flopped," he said, "and you switched teams, don't
talk to me, my n----."
Artist: Taylor Swift
Who She Dissed: One Direction's Harry Styles
How She Dissed Him: Even pop stars know how to throw
shade! During the opening performance of the Grammy Awards this year,
Ms. Swift ended her live show by speaking in a British accent and
mocking her ex-boyfriend
. "So, he calls me up and he's like, 'I
still love you,'" she said, "and I'm like, 'I'm sorry, I'm busy opening
up the Grammys and we're never getting back together. Like, ever.'"
Burned!
Artist: J. Cole
Who He Dissed: Diggy Simmons
How He Dissed Him: We all thought that the beef that
existed between these two was cooked. But, Cole proved otherwise when he
took the stage at a concert in North Carolina last September and kicked
a live freestyle that included a few bars aimed at young Diggy.
"Picture me hating on a young n---- with talent," he rapped, "Album
flopped, but it's cool, he caked out on his allowance." And, just like
that, the beef was back on.
Artist: Lil Mama
Who She Dissed: Nicki Minaj
How She Dissed Her: On stage at a Chris Brown concert.
But, as it turns out, not EVERYONE gets excited when they hear an artist
diss someone live. As you can clearly see and hear here, this crowd was
not happy to see Lil Mama dissing Nicki—and they let her know about it.
Artist: T.I.
Who He Dissed: Lil' Flip
How He Dissed Him: As you can see, there have been
quite a few artists who have dissed other artists during live shows.
But, how many of them have brought visual aides along to help their
cause?! Not many. So, what Tip did at Hot 107.9's Birthday Bash back in
2004 was pretty epic.
Artist: Jay-Z
Who He Dissed: Nas and Prodigy
How He Dissed Them: You didn't think we would forget
this one, did you? In arguably the most infamous live diss ever, Hov
performed his now-classic track "Takeover" at Hot 97's Summer Jam in
2001 and started a war of words between himself and Nas that escalated
over the course of the next six months. It was, in a word, crazy, and it
all started right there, live on the Summer Jam stage.
