Rihanna’s newest clothing line Rihanna for River Island may be “phresh off the runway,” but she isn’t rocking it during her Diamonds World Tour. Before having to cancel a show in Boston due to laryngitis, the Unapologetic singer launched her tour rocking custom Givenchy threads.
On Friday (Mar. 8), the bad gal took to First Niagara Center in Buffalo, New York in a “floor-sweeping ruffled silk crepe cape in black with an embroidered collar and a pair of black-and-white leather thigh-high boots with lacing details,” according to New York Magazine.
Riccardo Tisci, the man behind the custom couture concert-goers will get a chance to see, said the ensemble gives off “female empowerment and urban haute couture elegance” because Grammy award-winning singer is “the face of her generation.”
