With hip-hop jumping on the rap crowns and title left and right recently, the MTV Europe Music Awards took things into their hands and honored Eminem with their Global Icon Award on Sunday (Nov. 10) night from Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome. Marshall Mathers was on-hand to accept the award along with the Best Hip-Hop trophy. Em also performed two of his new MMLP2 tracks -- "Berzerk" and "Rap God" -- during the EMAs, the latter with his hypeman Mr. Porter in tow. It was a night of twos.
Eminem's MMLP2 dropped on Nov. 5. Prior to its release it was already the Number One album for its first week based off iTunes pre-sale numbers. That's straight up "Rap God" stuff right there.
