Jimmer Fredette Sues Clothing Company Over Image Use

Jimmer Fredette sues
NBA player Jimmer Fredette sued a Utah-based clothing company this week for image infringement.
The former Brigham Young University star filed suit against Black Clover Enterprises, claiming the company had broken a contract and used his name illicitly for profit. The player had entered into a contract with the company that would pay him $50,000 plus royalties for use of his name, but Fredette's suit alleges the company has not paid.
The 24-year-old is in his second year with the Sacramento Kings. The company was apparently selling hats with Fredette's name and Kings colors.
