Lady Gaga Named The New Face Of Versace

 

Earlier this month, Lady Gaga and Donatella Versace ceremoniously held their hands up in triumph, sparking rumors that the Mother Monster will become the brand's spokeswoman for next spring.

Now, Versace has confirmed that the "Applause" singer will be the face of the 2014 Spring/Summer campaign.

"#Versace proudly confirms @LadyGaga as the face of SS14 campaign shot by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott #VersaceLovesGaga," Versace tweeted Saturday (Nov. 23).

For the Italian fashion house's forthcoming campaign, Gaga is adorned in a lilac ensemble with long, blonde tresses and a fresh face with a pale peach lip. To keep in theme with her new deal, the ARTPOP songstress also strutted down the red carpet at last night's American Music Awards, dripping in Versace threads and riding a human horse. She even rocked all Versace everything during her recent Saturday Night Live stint.

"I'm so happy to be working w/ @Versace for the new Campaign!," she tweeted about the partnership, to which Donatella responded, "To a true iconic contemporary Versace woman: Thank you."
