Odom, Kardashian Charity Scam? Celeb Cancer Charity Is Bunk
ESPN's Outside The Lines did a report on athlete charities, and seems to have identified an Odom, Kardashian charity scam care of Clippers forward Lamar Odom and his wife Khloe Kardashian. Odom founded "Cathy's Kids" in 2004, but the cancer charity has not given any of the money it has solicited to cancer research. The websites of both Odom and Kardashian link to the charity.
It's not just the Odom, Kardashian charity scam that ESPN identified - Alex Rodriguez, Randy Moss and dozens of other sports stars are allegedly involved in charities that don't actually give their money to charitable causes.

14 Suspected Terrorists Killed During JTF Onslaught In Kano
At least fourteen suspected terrorists including one woman and one female child have been killed during a raid by operatives of Joint Task Forces (JTF) at Ryan’ Awaki area at Unguwa Uku in Kano State, North West Nigeria.
According to residents of the area, at about 4AM Sunday morning, the compound housing the suspected terrorists was invaded by the JTF, and what ensued were heavy sounds of gun shots and explosion which lasted for over four hours.

Murtala Mohammed, University Professor Murdered In Maiduguri
Mr. Mohammed who once served as the chief of staff to late Nigerian first lady, Stella Obasanjo was killed in front of his house in the troubled city of Mauduguri.
The motive for his killing remains unknown. Murtala had recently returned to Maiduguri to resume classes at the University of Maiduguri.
Before his death, Mr. Murtala was living in Jigawa with his wife and two kids.
Murtala was 56 years old.
